Register now for Scranton Civic Ballet Company & Scranton Civic Dance Centre's 45th Season. The Scranton Civic Ballet Company was founded in 1978 by Northeast Pennsylvania's most respected dance instructor, Miss Helen M. Gaus.  Originally as a regional resident company, the Scranton Civic Ballet Company is at the forefront of ballet and the performing arts in Northeast Pennsylvania.

Scranton Civic Ballet Company's Stars and Stripes was choreographed by Miss Helen M. Gaus, Founder and Artistic Director of the company. This production originally premiered on April 13, 1980 at the Masonic Temple, now known as the Scranton Cultural Center, starring Principal Dancers Leslie Beynon as Liberty Bell & Dan May as El Capitan.
